Event Description
South Coast Research and Extension Center is proud to announce our first in what we hope to be many Run Around the Farm running events!
This year's theme, "Race for the Pumpkins," runners in our 5k, 10k, and Walking divisions will receive a medal, t-shirt, and can cut a pumpkin off the vine in our fields to take home! Kids participating in the Pumpkin Run will also get to pick and take a pumpkin home.
The day of the race, we'll also have a succulent plant sale and a small expo area featuring UC Cooperative Extension programs, advisors, and experts on hand to field your questions.
(Plant sale and Expo only available to non-runners from 12-2pm)
Space is limited this first year. Only 200 running and walking spaces available!
Schedule:
- Runners 8am - 9:45am
- Walkers 10am - 12pm
- Kids Fun Run 8am - 2pm
Registration Fee:
- Early Bird Registration - open until August 31st: $55.00
- General Registration - September 1 through October 15: $65.00
- Kids Run (5 and under): $15.00
All paid registrants will receive a pumpkin. 5K/10K registrants will also receive a t-shirt and medal.
