Go The Distance is an 12 week program starting August 30, 2021 designed to get you to your best Philadelphia Half Marathon ever! Each week will include two in person coached sessions; a shorter weekday run at 5:45 a.m. on Tuesdays and a weekend long run on Saturdays at 6 a.m.
Our Saturday Long Run will be on the Schuylkill River Trail or in Valley Forge National Park and supported with at least one hydration station. Our weekday sessions will include a mix of workouts, such as hills, track runs and tempo runs at locations around the Lansdale/Collegeville, Pennsylvania area.
Your training plan will be delivered through the Training Peaks platform and will include workouts for the additional days that we are not meeting in person. There will be strength work written into the plan as well. Registration also includes access to a private Facebook page with weekly content and of course, an awesome running shirt!
This training program is suitable for ALL paces, including those who do a run/walk!
