2017 Tour de Parks 

Presented by Friends of the Legacy Trail and the Sarasota Manatee Bicycle Club

20 mile route Is entirely on Legacy Trail and is suitable for any one with a bike. Cycle the Trail from Venice Trail Depot to Palmer Ranch Parkway and back.  Optional ride south along the intracostal waterway to Shamrock Park.

35 Mile Route Has cycists on the Legacy Trail at the beginning and end of the ride. Stops at Urfer and Bay Street Parks.  

62 Mile Ride  Has cyclists on the Legacy Trail at the beginning and end of the ride.  Stops at Rothenbach, Benderson and Bay Street Parks.

Trained bicycle mechanics from two local bicycle shops; Real Bikes and Sarasota Cycle, will be on call and patrolling the routes in case of breakdowns.

Start and finish at Historic Venice Train Depot/Legacy Trail.

Registration opens at 6:30 AM

Breakfast 6:30 AM to 8:30 AM

62 mile ride starts at 7:30 AM

35 mile ride starts at 8:30 AM

20 mile ride starts at 9:30 AM

 Catered lunch 11AM to 2PM

Ride ends at 2PM

Entry fee $35.00 before February 26

                $40.00 February 27-March 23

                $45.00 after March 23 & walk ins

Entry fee includes: breakfast, lunch, shirt, rest stop foods/drinks and SAG support

Must register by February 26, 2017 to guarantee your requested dri-fit shirt size. 

Shirts to the first 500 cyclists registered. 

Registration and check in available Friday, March 24th 4PM to 6PM at Real Bikes 581 US 41 Bypass, Venice, FL or Saturday, March 25th 1PM-4PM at Sarasota Cycle 3800 S. Osprey Avenue, Sarasota. Registration open 6:30AM at Venice Train Depot
