Join us Saturday, September 18, 2021, for our FINAL SHARK WEEK 5K of 2021 on the most beautiful waterfront and beach front restaurant setting in Tampa Bay. These JASW finisher's medals are perfect for all SHARJ FANS.
Caddy’s Pub is the perfect venue to celebrate AS WE CELEBRATE OUR BELOVED SHARKS in one final awesome 5K this year! This great SHARK run is limited to 150 participants who will enjoy one of the FINAL AND ALL NEW shark MOUTH finisher’s medal.
The 5K run/walk is an electronically timed 5K up to 59 minutes. Everyone registered will enjoy a free can of Michelob Ultra Organic Seltzer, a promotional race shirt, and party at Caddy’s Pub on Indian Shores. Check in opens race day at 8 a.m. at Caddy’s on Indian Shores. Just prior to run start we’ll walk you across the road to hard packed sand of Indians Shores where we’ll start the 5K at 8:30 a.m. as we enjoy an out and back 5K run/walk along the coast. Since the sand is firmly hard packed there is no barefoot running allowed. The terrain is much more like asphalt vs. soft beach sand.
After the run we’ll head back to Caddy’s Pub for a your free Michelob Seltzer with awards going to the top 10 male and top 10 female finisher’s!
Times are recorded for all runners and walkers however we do not post them at the venue you can find them at 2:00 p.m. on race day at www.727CanRace.com
An email will go out to all registrants the day before the race with arrival and parking instructions along with your bib number assignment. This race is almost sold out and is a fundraiser for our teens from finish lines for scholarships 501 C3. Please register early to save as we know the price increases steeply as we approach event day and a sell out but understand your registration fee is a great donation for our teen community in Tampa Bay
