DESCRIPTION
Please plan to join us for this very special new road race designed to benefit FIVE unique and different Charities! The inaugural “5 to Thrive” Charity Event will take place Saturday evening, October 23rd. 5K Race time is 7:30 PM! The party will start at 5:00 PM with Food Trucks, Sponsors, Vendors, Face Painting, a Kids Zone, and Entertainment! All leading up to a “Light up the Night” 5K & Fun Run starting at 7:30 PM! Proceeds will benefit the Dancers Against Cancer Charity along with additional monetary donations to families that have been affected by cancer. But there’s more! If YOU would like to nominate a family or an organization to be a recipient of proceeds from this event, please email dancewithfusion@gmail.com! This unique event being presented by Fusion Dance Studio of Cartersville, is also a USATF Certified Course and is thus, a Peachtree Road Race Qualifier!
Registration:
*$25 Pre-Race Registration Fee (Runs until 11:00 PM, Sunday evening, October 17th. You must register by this date to guarantee your T-shirt size and lock in at the reduced rate!)
*$35 Race Day Registration Fee
5K Start-Finish & Race Day Parking:
*Both the Start and Finish Line(s) will be located at the entrance to the Sam Smith Soccer Complex, behind Carterville Middle School (off of Milner Road just past the intersection of Milner Rd. and Walnut Grove Rd.)
*There is PLENTY of Event Parking within the Sam Smith Soccer Complex Parking Lot!
Race Route (See attached Route Map):
Runners will utilize the seldom used “Gravel Road Race Route” in and around Sam Smith Park. This is a very fast and rolling course where you will get to enjoy the beautiful views of the surrounding hills near sunset with what should be amazing Fall temps!

*6:15 PM Race Day Registration & Packet Pick-Up Opens
*7:30 PM 5K Start Time
*8:10 PM Fun Run Start Time
*8:20 PM Awards
Pre-Race Packet Pick-up for those pre-registered:
Pre-Race Packet Pick-up will be held Thursday, October 23rd, and Friday October 24th, from 5:30-7:30 PM at the Fusion Dance Company, 920 N Tennessee Street, Cartersville, GA.

*Top 3 Overall Male and Top 3 Overall Female Winners
*Top Masters Male and Top Masters Female Winners
*Top 3 Male & Female in the following Age Categories: 10-Under, 11-14, 15-19, 20-24, 25-29, 30-34, 35-39, 40-44, 45-49, 50-54, 55-59, 60-64, 65-69, 70 & Over
