Twin Cities Dog Powered Sports MN Dryland Race Information:

MISSION: Dedicated to making dog-powered sports safe and accessible to the recreational pet home.

SATURDAY, OCTOBER 23rd

LOCATION: Lake Elmo Park Reserve: 1515 Keats Ave N, Lake Elmo, MN 55042

OFFERING: 5-6-Dog Cart, 3-4-Dog Cart, 2-Dog Bikejor, 1-Dog Bikejor, 2-Dog Scooter, 1-Dog Scooter, 1-Dog Canicross

2.3 Mile Loop: 5-6 Dog Cart, 3-4 Dog Cart, 2-Dog Bikejor, 2-Dog Scooter, 1-Dog Canicross

1.3 Mile Loop: 1 Dog Bikejor, 1 Dog Scooter

 

NutriSource will be giving the Top 3 racers in each division a free bag of dog food, 1st place winners will also receive apparel, and every racer will receive a sample food bag!
There will also be giveaways from a few mushing businesses, a Wolftrack Scooter Raffle, merch/info booths, a large bonfire, and a food truck! 

 

Reminder: Dogs may only race in 1 event, but drivers may enter multiple events racing with different dogs who haven’t already participated. 

Registered Breed -Pure Bred Dog Registered with paperwork available on race day (Example: Siberian huskies, Alaskan malamutes, Samoyeds)

ALL- Breed- Any mixed breed dog/ pure breds that aren’t the breeds above. 

Race will be staggered over 1-minute intervals, except canicross- Mass start. 

 

DRIVERS MEETING (Mandatory): Saturday 8 AM

RACE START: Saturday 9 AM

Please remember to show respect for the sport, racers, volunteers, and the park:

Pick up after yourself and your dogs, listen to volunteers and staff, and stay safe. 

No motorized vehicles (atvs)

Dog line must have a bungee section (legal joring line) 

Dogs must be up to date on rabies vaccine

Gates open at 6am

Awards and Raffle drawing take place after all events finish (Must be present to receive) 

Spectators: $7 Parking Pass (included for racers)

 

COVID 19: We will be following CDC recommended guidelines, and staying up to date with any restrictions.
