Event Description

We're hosting some uniquely distanced trail running and MTB races that are sure to offer some fun new challenges for the entire family. The Adult Trail Race for anyone ages 12 & up will be 2.5 miles, 2 laps of our 1.25 mile dirt course. The Kids Trail Race will be 1.25 miles and is open to anyone ages 6-17. Adults registered for the 2.5 mile race are welcome to accompany their younger children during the Kids Trail Run if you wear your number and feel it's necessary. Mountain Bike Races for intermediate to advanced ability levels will follow the trail runs using the same 1.25 mile lap for specified distances. You may enter multiple categories and races based on your age and ability.

***Please note that this is an aggressive off-road course and the trail features up and down terrain with lots of roots, rocks and uneven surfaces. Only pedal bikes with front and rear brakes will be allowed in MTB races, and helmets are required.***

Race Schedule on October 2, 2021:

  • 9:00am Adult 2.5 Mile Trail Run ages 12 & up
  • 10:30am Kids 1.25 Mile Trail Run ages 6-17
  • 12:00pm Kids Short Track MTB Race ages 8-17 (20 Min) 
  • 12:30pm Beginner Short Track MTB Race ages 12 & up (30 Min)
  • 1:15pm Expert Short Track MTB Race ages 12 & up (45 Min)

The Get Out Greenville trail runs and MTB races will be featured events taking place during the Get Out Greenville Fall Festival on October 2, 2021, celebrating all that Greenville County and Upstate South Carolina has to offer outdoor enthusiasts.  The challenging off-road course winds its way through the beautiful Pleasant Ridge County Park and features a mix of dirt and gravel with lots of roots, rocks and uneven surfaces. Pleasant Ridge County Park is one of the best facilities in the county, featuring amenities for almost any outdoor pursuit. There will be food, fun and numerous outdoor activities for the entire family at the Get Out Greenville Festival, including running, mountain biking, paddling, fly fishing, skateboarding, and many other activities for visitors of any age. Pleasant Ridge Park is a 272 acre former state park located on scenic Highway 11 in northern Greenville County. Home to Camp Spearhead, a residential summer camp for persons with disabilities, Pleasant Ridge Park includes a camp and retreat center that hosts special events, team building activities, and weddings throughout the year. The park is known for its picnic shelters, fishing lake, and multi-use trail system that caters to mountain biking.
