Event Description
On Friday evening, October 29th, at The Village of Woodside, CanHope will be hosting a Halloween 5K run/1 mile walk to help raise much-needed funding for its local mission of financially supporting low-income cancer patients in Aiken, Allendale, Bamberg, Barnwell, Edgefield, McCormick and Orangeburg counties and also disseminating early detection and cancer prevention resources to all residents of these counties. CanHope assists with costs related to cancer treatment including transportation to cancer treatment facilities, cancer medications and medical equipment and supplies. Additional funding is desperately needed to continue the work we have been doing since 2003. Participants are encouraged to “dress up” in their favorite superhero costume or costume of choosing!!! Best costume prizes will be awarded!

6:00pm - 1-Mile Fun Run
6:30pm - 5K
7:45/8:00pm - 5K Awards
REGISTRATION FEES:
1-Mile Fun Run - $15.00 through Oct. 25th and $20.00 after Oct. 25th
This option is NOT officially timed.
5K - $25.00 through Oct. 25th and $30.00 after Oct. 25th
This is officially timed.
T-SHIRTS:
T-shirts will be available to participants who register on or before T-shirts are not guaranteed to participants who register after Oct. 15th. Extras will be ordered but will given out on a first come, first serve basis. Sizes include: YM, YL, AS, AM, AL, AXL, AXXL.
TIMING/AWARDS/RACE DIVISIONS:
The 1-Mile Fun Run will not be timed events, however, a clock will be displayed.
The 5K will be electronically timed by 2 Girls and a Clock, LLC.
The overall male and female will receive a medal along with the top three finishers in the following age categories: 12 and under; 13-19; 20-29; 30-39; 40-49; 50-59; 60-69 and 70 and above.
COURSE DESCRIPTION:
The race will be held at The Village of Woodside. The course consists of gravel, hard pavement and some grass areas.
PACKET PICK UP AND LATE REGISTRATION:
Runners can pick up their race packet and register on Thursday, Oct. 28th at The Village of Woodside Gazebo from 5:30pm-7:00pm
You can register and pick up packets on race day from 5:00pm - 5:30pm. Registration will close promptly at 5:30pm.
We accept cash, checks and credit.

Are dogs allowed? YES as long as they are leashed and get along with other dogs.
Can I walk the event? YES
When and where are results posted? Results are posted on Runsignup.com and 2 Girls and a Clock Race and Timing Services Facebook Page within 24 hours of the event.
