Virtually run or walk a 5K (3.1 miles) or 10K (6.2 miles) FOR THE KIDS!

Race Time Frame: September 18-19, 2021
Distance: Run or walk a 5K or 10K during the allotted time frame mentioned above. This can be done in one single run/walk or break it up and accumulate your mileage!
Race Benefits: Proceeds from this race will go directly to LHS DanceBlue, an event that supports the DanceBlue Kentucky Children’s Hospital Pediatric Hematology/Oncology Clinic through the Golden Matrix Fund. Over the last seven years, Lafayette DanceBlue has successfully raised over $130,000 to donate to this worthy cause! It has been an amazing seven years and we are excited to make this year even more successful!
Shirt/sticker pickup: A drive-thru race packet pick-up will occur on September 15 from 5:30-7:30 in the front parking lot of Lafayette High School (401 Reed Lane), students may also pick up race packets at school on 9/15. Additionally, these packets can be picked up at Lafayette High School's front office from 9-11 a.m. on Friday, September 17th.
Social Sharing: A Facebook Event page has been setup so that participants can share their virtual race experience! Since we don't need everyone to submit their actual race time (there are no awards based on time), we would like everyone to post on this page when they finish their race and share a photo, location and (optional) Garmin/FitBit/Workout data. Additionally, you can post on Twitter or Instagram using the hashtag #LHS5KFTK so that we can see your photos - feel free to also tag Lafayette DanceBlue and share your photos!

Who Can Participant?: Anyone! We only ask that you follow the CDC Guidelines related to the COVID-19 pandemic regarding social distancing and the limitation on group gatherings. This is great way to unite virtually with your corporate group, place of worship, school, club or team!

----August 15 - September 6: $20 per registrant
----September 7-15: $25 a person
