Event Description

Bring the family and run or walk October 9th at beautiful Oak Ridge Prairie to help make wishes come true for children battling critical illnesses. Get ready for a one-of-a-kind, scenic and memorable run that will take you through the trails, past the airport runway, and back to the finish line, where refreshments and snacks will be waiting for you!

 
Event Schedule
8:00 - 9:00 A.M. - Packet Pickup at the Pavilion
9:00 A.M. - Kids Half-Mile Fun Run
9:30 A.M. - 5K Run/Walk
10:45 A.M. - Awards Ceremony

Registration options include a 5K Run and a Kids Half-Mile "Fun Run"  
5K registration includes; t-shirt* and a goodie bag! *T-shirt guaranteed to those registered by September 9th
Chick-Fil-A will be providing free post race sandwiches to the first 50 registrants for the 5k!

Kids Half-Mile Fun Run registration includes; a "fun run" goodie bag! An additional option for a t-shirt is available upon signup.
The fun run course will be one loop around the lake located near the 5k start. Signs will be posted on race day, along with volunteers to assist in directing participants.

Refreshments, snacks, and music will be available for all at the post-race party!

  Want to make a day of it? Oak Ridge Prairie will be hosting their annual hayrides on the hour starting at 5:00 P.M., followed by a campfire that evening.
