Event Description

This 17th Annual Catonsville event is one you'll build family traditions with for many years to come. Our rolling hills cross country style course set on the campus of Catonsville High School offers a scenic race with the most breathtaking morning views. Runners and walkers have the option of participating in the 1 Mile Family Fun run at 8:10am, or the 5k race at 8:30am. Both races are timed. Due to the nature of our course, strollers and pets are not allowed in either race. 

Our race is unique in that 100% of our proceeds go to the CHS Cross Country program, including the purchase of uniforms, training tools, and travel expenses, and the philanthropy causes they support.  When you participate in our race you are also giving back to your local community.  Though the COVID-19 pandemic forced our race to take a break in 2020, our 2021 race has us excited to be back raising funds and awareness for causes near and dear to us. Awards:

    Thanks to our gracious sponsors at State Fare and The Beaumont Cash prizes will be awarded to the first, second and third place male and female finishers.  And as always, baked goods offered by our cross country team members' families are also included as prizes in both our overall and age group categories.

5K Race: First, second and third place Overall Male and Female, and the first place finisher for each gender for the following age group categories: 10 and under, 11-18, 19-29, 30-39, 40-49, 50-59, 60+

Kids' 1 Mile Fun Run: First, second and third place overall male and female aged 13 or under (no age group awards).

Random prize drawings for gift certificates, running gear, training programs and so much more!
