Event Description

Register today for the Rose Festival Half Marathon, expanding into the Portland metro region and charting new territory for greater Portland racers. The race will begin at Southridge High School in Beaverton, Oregon. The route — still in final development — will take runners to familiar Beaverton arteries (and through a popular wetlands park) as they dash along a unique mix of modern urban landscaping and ancient natural areas.

Packet Pick Up:
Packet pick up is available for all registered participants during the following location and dates. Packet pick up is where you will pick up your participant bib, timing chip (attached to bib), t-shirt, and more.

Be at the start by 7 AM
Start time will be 7:30 AM and Crunch Fitness will facilitate a stretch and warm up at 7 AM at the start.

 

Race Day Parking
Parking is available at the following locations (listed in order of distance from the starting line):

 

• Conestoga Recreation & Aquatic Center (.1 mile to start) 9985 SW 125th Ave, Beaverton, OR 97008
• Conestoga Middle School (.39 miles to start) 12250 SW Conestoga Dr, Beaverton, OR 97008
• Greenway Elementary School (.57 miles to start) 9150 SW Downing Dr, Beaverton, OR 97008

 

Aid & Porta Potties
There will be 4 on-course aid stations with porta potties, Ultima electrolyte replenisher, water, small snacks and aid volunteers. Porta potties will also be located at the starting line!

 

Child Care:
Tualatin Hills Park & Rec is offering care for children 6 mo to 12 years at the Conestoga Recreation Center. The cost is $35 per child. Register for a THPRD account then register for childcare during the race!

 

Additional information:
Spectators are encouraged to watch the start and finish from the stadium grand stands, the Conestoga Rec Center or the course.

 

There is no bag check, so we encourage you to run with your cell phone or leave valuables with loved ones and friends.

A cherished highlight of the Portland Rose Festival, the Spirit Mountain Casino Grand Floral Parade is a popular procession that is more than a spectacular floral-filled parade; it’s a beloved annual tradition. For more than 100 years, Portland families, visitors and community groups come together to celebrate what makes Portland a great place to live and visit. A colorful reflection of local, regional and international communities, the parade draws hundreds of thousands of cheering viewers of every age, along a 4.2 mile route that winds through city streets and across the river.

 

Plan to watch the parade in person at 10:00 a.m. on Saturday, June 10, 2017 – reserved seats are available at Veterans Memorial Coliseum (http://www.rosefestival.org/buy/tickets), or watch the live television broadcast on FOX 12 Oregon!
