Event Description

Welcome to the inaugural Avalaunch Gives Back 5k and Family Fun Run! This year we will be raising dollars for two outstanding causes. The Michael J Fox Foundation (Parkinson's Disease Research), and Water For Life Charity. The event is title sponsored by digital marketing agency, Avalaunch Media, located in Lehi, Utah and presented by Interventional Vascular & Vein Center (IVC).

Avalaunch Media staff members have direct involvement with these causes! Marketing Manager, Aaron Marks, is participating on Team Fox in the New York City Marathon on November 7th. Director of Business Development, James Brown, is on the executive team for Water For Life Charity. The two of them will serve as co-race directors for this event and 100% of proceeds from the event will be split between the two causes.

Our event takes place on Sat November 20th at Wheeler Historic Farms. At 9:00 a.m. will be the 5k event with a certified course mapped throughout the farm. At 8:30 will be the Avalaunch Yeti Mascot Family Fun Run. Get your kids involved! Those signed up for the 5k can participate in the fun run as a warm up. Join the Avalaunch Yeti along with other mascots from around Utah.

5k awards will be given to overall male and female winners, plus top 3 participants in each age group. Finisher medals provided to fun run participants. Your registration includes an event t-shirt, plus gift bag with cool offerings from our sponsors. We are planning to have photographers on site who will provide images for free download after the event, and we're looking at breakfast options after the race!
