Event Description

A ten mile running race (51st annual) along South Jersey's ocean front that utilizes chip timing.  A must for runners looking for something slightly different from the traditional road race.  Seven and one half miles are on the beach.  The remaining two and one half miles are on a black top macadam boardwalk.  The race occurs at low tide which means you will not be running on soft sand, but on hard packed sand similar to a dirt trail.  The course is traffic free and flat.  Visit our website, www.sicbp.com, for more infroamtion.

Event details and schedule

The race will be started at 5:30 PM, rain or shine.  Due to safety concerns an electrical storm will necessitate cancelling the run.

Race packet pick-up is on Sautday, July 30, between 12:00 noon and 4:30 PM at The Lodge, 300 John F. Kennedy Boulevard.

The Sea Isle City Beach Patrol Lifeguards Association is proud to partner with For Pete's Sake Cancer Respite Foundation for this event.  For Pete's Sake enables adult cancer patients and their loved ones to strengthen, deepen and unify their relationships by creating unforgettable and lasting respite vacations - giving families a much needed break from cancer!  We encourage you to visit the "Giving" section during registration to support this wonderful cause.
