Event Description

Día de Muertos (Day of the Dead), is a time when families gather to honor and remember deceased loved ones. It is believed that the souls of the dead return to visit the living families in homes, businesses and cemeteries. This is a joyful festivity for families and the community.

PACKET PICKUP: Packet pickup will be the day before the race from 4-6 pm at TBD.  It will also be available on race day morning from 6:30 - 7:30 am.

SHIRTS: Participants are provided with a high-quality performance t-shirt. T- shirts available to those who register by February 25, 2022. T-shirt sizes are not guaranteed to those who register after February 26.(size availability can be seen as your register). After that, t-shirts are available on a first-come, first-serve basis.

AWARDS and MEDALS:  ALL 5k and 1 mile participants upon completing the 5k and 1mile will receive participation metals. We will have awards for the top three men and women finishers for the 5k. We will be also be giving out awards for each age group. Please stick around at the end to see if you finished in the top three.  

Race Day Timeline

RACE DAY REGISTRATION: Race day registration will be available the morning of the race between 6:30am and 7:30am. Online registration will close on March 12th.

·        6:30am – Packet pick up and late sign in.

o   Announce start time for 5k and 1 mile

·        7am - Start letting sponsor speak at with the mic.

o   Announce start time for 5k and 1 mile

o   Announce start time for 5k and 1 mile 

·        7:45am - National Anthem

o   Announce start time for 5k/1k

·        8 am - 5k and 1k will start.

·        9:30am - Start the awards ceremony.
