Event Description

Hello! We are Katherine Rumsey and Abby Jacobi and we are organizing the 8th annual 5K on Turkey Day to benefit Love Chapel for our senior project.  As Columbus North cross country runners we are excited to put on an event involving our passion, running!  This race will take place on Thanksgiving morning and benefit Love Chapel, a local church affiliated organization. This year our goal is to raise $40,000 and 2,000 pounds of food as well as have 400 participants. The canned goods collected will go towards Love Chapel’s food pantry while registration fees will help Love Chapel provide support in the form of  housing aid, rent, and pharmaceutical assistance to struggling families and individuals in the Columbus area. 

The event will be taking place at the Armory (2160 Arnold Street Columbus, IN, 47203) at 8 AM on Thanksgiving morning. Hope to see you there!
