Event Description
High on a windy hill, overlooking the confluence of the Red and Cumberland rivers, stands Emerald Hill, home of Austin Peay State University National Alumni Association and the start and finish for the Scholarship 5K: Run for Govs. Listed in the National Register of Historic Sites, this mansion has a history that is as rich as the traditions of the University. As runners come to conquer Emerald Hill they will embark on a journey of accomplishment as they endure the winding course to the top. Truly, the name given by Gustavus A. Henry was appropriate. It was and still is an Emerald Hill. Let the race begin.
The Gov Awaits Your Arrival.
