Event Description
The Apple Valley Reverse Triathlon will be held at the beautiful Civic Center Park, and Aquatic Center! The Reverse Triathlon will start with a 5k run and transition into a 12 mile road course and finish with a 150 yd pool swim.
The Apple Valley kids triathlon will consist of a 1k run, 1 mile bike ride, and a 50 yard swim. Last but not least the event will also include a stand-alone 5K for those runners at heart.
All events are chip timed, and athletes will receive a T- Shirt and Finisher Medal. Awards start time 9:45am. Medals for top 3 overall male/female, and top 3 in each division for Triathlon event, and top 3 male/female in 5K event. No awards for kids triathlon, this event is purely for the enjoyment of the kids and is geared for those 5- 11 years old. Each kid's tri-athlete will receive a medal and T-shirt.
Traveling for the Event?
New this year: Pre-Race Camping options!
We will have limited space available for both RV and Tent Camping in Civic Center Park! Spend the night in the park, and wake up refreshed for your race! Staff will be on-site throughout the night for check-in, race details, and general camp support.
Check-in will begin at 5pm on Friday, September 24th; check-out after race awards (approx 10am).
Each camp site will be $15 per tent/RV, with limited availability.
To reserve your space, select either the Tent or RV option during your event registration.
Please note, there will be no RV hookups.

Athletes can park in the Town Hall Parking Lot off Dale Evans Parkway/Westlund Way or in the Super Target shopping center.
