Event Description
The Connellsville Police Officers’ Association (C.P.O.A.) is hosting the 2nd annual C.P.O.A. 5K Race on Saturday, October 8, 2022. Proceeds from the race will benefit the C.P.O.A. and our regular community service projects. This will be replacing the Poker Run from previous years. Our Scholarship Fund, established in 1978, annually awards cash scholarships to graduating seniors at the Connellsville Area High School. We regularly provide safety presentations and child fingerprint programs in and around the City of Connellsville with, but not limited to, schools, recreational events, and civic service groups. We participate in the Community Ministries Secret Santa, which provides 2-4 families a year with Christmas presents. Association members are available to provide drug awareness programs and safety programs for elderly and/or female populations. Members offer community service projects voluntarily, without cost to taxpayers.
Registration - 9:00 AM
Race Start - 10:00 AM
- The course will be at Connellsville High School and features a half mile section through the woods
- 50/50 Drawings at the end of the race
- Under age 18 must have parental consent
- Free refreshments will be provided following the race

$25 gift card for 1st place overall male and female
Medals for winners in the following male and female age categories: 18 & under, 19-29, 30-39 40-49, 50-59, 60-69, 70+
