Event Description

Celebrate the holiday with a pumpkin carving contest. Come in to CoffeeNet to carve your creation or carve it on your own and bring it in. Pumpkins will be displayed at CoffeeNet and SurfNet and voted on by patrons to decide the winner.    Votes will be tallied on October 14th.   Prizes for Top 3 pumpkins at each facility. 

Sign up to recieve a Free pumpkin to carve.  You will be contacted before the contest to arrange pick up.   Bring it by the liberty center on the contest day to enter it in the judging.   Sing up for event at either CoffeeNet or SurfNet to show which facility you will be entering your pumpkin at for judging and showing. 

Registration is open to qualified liberty patrons only.  Liberty is defined as active duty single sailor (or airman) age 18-26, rank e1-e6,  and geobatchelors, currently assigned to NBVC. If your command requires approval to participate in events, you are responsible for procuring said approval before signing up.  By registering you agree that you meet the qualifications listed above. .
