Event Description

Voted the best themed race in the Lehigh Valley, the Christmas City Classic 5K is BACK for 2021 (5 miler to return in 2022).  The race is fun, challenging, and rewarding. With amenities, music, festive costumes, a great course, a five star organizing effort, and the best runners in the Valley, we think you'll agree this is a tradition you'll want to repeat every Christmas season. Event Times

5K Run/Walk at 9:00AM

Packet Pickup

Race Day Packet Pickup at the YMCA, 7:00AM-8:45AM.  Due to COVID, runners may be required to remain outside of the YMCA with no access inside. (Port-o-pottys will be provided)

Parking

Park early in the lot at the YMCA or on any of the side streets around the YMCA location.

Dogs

Sorry, dogs are not currently permitted to participate.

Baby Strollers

Yes, you may use a baby stroller. Use caution and be safe. If the temperatures are too cold or the path is snow-covered, we recommend leaving junior at home.

Course

The 5K course will be the same course as used in previous years for the Candy Cane 5K. We will have volunteers offering course guidance as well as marked course signs. Course Map

• 5K Race – $50 top male and female plus gift, $ 35-second male and female plus gift

COSTUME CONTEST– We will be observing individuals and groups in costume throughout the event. We will select two individuals and one group (up to 4 people) to receive free entries to the 2022 race. Award winners will be announced on Facebook after the race!
