Event Description

The 16th annual Nebraska Trail Run has two Major Announcements!  We have moved our date to Saturday November 13th.  We will be debuting new 5 mile and 8 mile courses around Lake Wanahoo in Wahoo.  The Lower Platte North Natural Resources District's 637 acre lake and recreation area offers picturesqe surroundings.  The course is comprised of wide mowed trails that capture the natural beauty of Lake Wanahoo and Wanahoo Creek.  You will want to bring your camera!  Some of the most natural and beautiful prairie in Eastern Nebraska.  Rolling course through the prairie, abundant wildlife, and magnificent views await!  The event will be staged from the new Wanahoo Education Center, a perfect host.  Brought to you by the LPNNRD and NRGE.   Benefiting the Wahoo Warriors and Bishop Neumann Cavaliers.

Event details and schedule

Race day registration and packet pick up will open at 7:30 am at the Education Center.  The course is comprised of wide mowed trails that capture the natural beauty of Lake Wanahoo and Wanahoo Creek.  You will want to bring your camera for this tour of some of the most natural and beautiful prairie in Eastern Nebraska.  Abundant wildlife, rolling course, and magnificent views await!

The cannon will fire promptly at 9:00 a.m.  Please bring your own water bottle or camelback.  We will have water available to fill.  We take memories and leave only footprints.  Plenty of free parking adjacent to the start/finish area.  Indoor restrooms.  Please dress appropriate to the weather.

Post race refreshments including our favorite local craft brews! 

Swag packet includes our long sleeve sweat shirt in your size if you register by Sunday, November 7th.  Race day registrants are not guaranteed a sweat shirt.  We have a no refund policy on registrations.
