Event Description

It's time for the 10th Annual Habitat Hustle 5K Run/Walk! This event benefits UF Habitat for Humanity. Wear your favorite running or walking gear and come out on Sunday November 14th, 2021 for a community-wide event with UF Habitat! THIS EVENT IS OPEN TO THE PUBLIC

The start and finish line is at Boulware Springs Park in Gainesville, and the run takes place along Gainesville's scenic Hawthorne Trail. The race will begin promptly at 9:30 a.m. with a suggested arrival/ check-in time of 9 a.m. 

Runners can enjoy post-race treats and raffle prizes from local businesses upon crossing the finish line. There will also be awards for the top three male and female finishers. All proceeds benefit UF Habitat for Humanity in supporting their mission to provide safe, affordable housing to deserving families in Alachua County through home builds, advocacy, and critical home repairs.

The first 60 people to sign up get a Habitat Hustle T-shirt included with race admission! Registration after the first 60 sign-ups includes a blue Habitat for Humanity T-shirt (not 5K specific), along with the race bib, raffle ticket, and post-race treats.

In addition, if you're not located in Gainesville, you can choose to join us virtually! We're offering a virtual option for friends and family who would like to participate and support UF Habitat for Humanity, but cannot make the race in person. Just make sure to track your run on any run tracking app and email a screenshot to the events email listed below. We'd love for you to send us a picture of yourself before or after your run, as well!
