Event Description

We are excited to share with you that Run 5 Feed 5 and SerCo are teaming up to bring you a 5K charity event at Creekside Park. Run 5 Feed 5, is a 501c3 organization that hosts events throughout the to fund programs that feed hungry children as well as stock a pantry for local schools. Since its start, SerCo has meant “Service to the Community" and our club works to serve our community by helping families.

Run 5 Feed 5 and SerCo will co-host the first annual Be the Light 5K with the proceeds feeding hungry children and providing gifts for children and families in need this Christmas.

The event will be held on Saturday, December 4th beginning at 4:30pm. This will be a HUGE family event for the holidays at Creekside Park! The event will start off with a 5K run/walk through the park and end the 5K with the annual Creekside Tree Lighting as well as many activities for families including: food trucks, candy cane hunt for the children, photo booth pictures with Santa and the Grinch, crafts, cookies with Mrs. Claus, hot cocoa, roasting marshmallows and lots more!
