National We Are Not Broken Day is January !7. Come celebrate our 3rd year with us and help spread to the world how beautiful scars are.

Scars do not reflect brokenness or less than, they are the victory marks we earn from the battles we have fought and won. We Are Not Broken will highlight every scar as beautiful, as strength and most importantly, as life. We Are Not Broken is a nonprofit charity that highlights the beauty of physical scars that women and girls carry from either domestic abuse, cancer, collisions, combat, trauma, birth abnormalities, self harm, or scars that we can not see. I have photographed teenage girls that are being bullied because of their scars, young children that are being laughed at because of their scars and women that hide in shame because of their scars. Please help me get the word out all across America and across the world that women will no longer have to hide in shame because of their scars.
