Escape. This race is an Escape like no other. Come, experience the beauty of Hutchinson Island. Locals and tourists agree: Martin County’s quaint shorelines are the perfect place to disconnect. With miles and miles of peaceful beaches, beautiful water, and natural sand dunes, there’s no better time to turn off your cell phone and soak up the incredible ambiance of Old Florida. Our course begins with an open water swim (.25 or .5 miles) in the warm July waters of the Atlantic Ocean. Stuart Beach is located across from the Elliott Museum and the Florida Oceanographic Coastal Center. The park offers a variety of amenities including covered picnic areas, beach volleyball courts, showers, restrooms, and more. Grab a snack or lunch after your race at the Chef Shack overlooking the beautiful blue Atlantic waters.
