Sea Rim Striders' 2021 JINGLE BELL 5K/Kids K

The Sea Rim Striders Run Club is an all-volunteer incorporated 501(c)3 Non Profit Organization that has been in existence since the 1970's!   We support, encourage, and promote running and walking at all levels to increase health and fitness awareness, as well as giving back to our community.
Everything we do throughout the year is free and open to the public, except the Turkey Trot and Jingle Bell events, as they are our main fundraisers for the year.

Join us as we host this holiday-themed event, right here in Beaumont, Texas.
This year, we will hold this event at Tyrrell Park.

EVENT ALTERATIONS FOR 2021

Due to factors - including not enough time to plan this event as a full-scale paid-in event, this event is FREE this year.
Here are some changes you'll notice:
Kids run will start at 8:15am after short warm-up with Camp Gladiator!  No 5K mass start.  Arrive between 8:30-8:45 to start your 5K.
No race bibs, no timing, no awards, no awards ceremony.  
Online pre-registration required; will be strictly online, unless otherwise announced.
SHIRTS
Although this is a FREE event, we do have some old Jingle Bell shirts that will will distribute to runners, as supplies last.
Shirts are available in sizes Youth 3T - Adult 4X.                                                                                      
COURSE
COURSE IS NOT CLOSED - IT IS OPEN TO THE PUBLIC/VEHICLES.  PLEASE USE CAUTION ON THIS COURSE.
FINISHER MEDALS -
We do not normally have finisher medals for our free events, but we have decided to give runners some 5K and Kids run finisher ornaments, if you'd like to take home and display on your Christmas trees!

Race Start Time:   8:15 AM - Kids fun run

                               8:30 AM - 5K run/walk

    *1.25 hour cutoff.  SRS will break down event site by 9:45am.

We love to see photos of our Participants having a great time.     

All Photos will be posted on Sea Rim Striders' Facebook page and the link will be posted in the JINGLE BELL Facebook event.

COURSE
Course is through Tyrrell Park rd.
Start near the back loop near the old/reconstructed building, run the road down to the botanical gardens turnaround, and come back to start/finish.

COSTUME CONTEST!   12/11 - 12/13
Get creative and wear your festive holiday spirit/costumes!  When we post the costume contest, comment with your 2021 JINGLE BELL costume photo from your run.  The picture with the most photo comment "likes" is winner!
