Event Description

For 2022, the Phillips Flurry will be held both in-person and virtual!

TENT: There will be NO tent at the in-person event, please dress appropriately.

REGISTRATION: All runners must pre-register. There will be no race day registration.Bib Pick up: 9:00 – 10:15 A.M. Race Start: 10:30 A.M. (5k & 10k Race)

SWAG: In-person registrants will receive a their socks along with their bib in their swag bag on race day. Virtual registrants will receive their socks and swag bag in the mail. Door prizes will be drawn during a Facebook Live even on 1/19/2022 at 5:30pm Central.

AWARDS CEREMONY: Held outdoor (weather permitting), otherwise will be available for pick up on race day.

AID STATION: BYOBB (bring your own beverage bottle).  We will have water jugs at our usual aid stations, but they will be self-serve (no volunteers).

TEAMS: Create a team with your friends, family, co-workers or complete strangers! Teams need at least five (5) members and a fun name (please keep it clean).  In addition to a discounted entry fee and bragging rights, all team members will be entered into a second drawing for another pair of snowshoes!  All team members must be registered in the 5K event in either the Adult or Youth division. 

TEAMS DIVISIONS (Corporate, Men’s, Women’s, Mixed, HS Boys & HS Girls): Each team consists of 5 or more members that are participating in-person. Awards will be given to the top team in each division and to the team with the highest number of finisher.

RACE PERKS: Registration includes a post race boxed meal catered by Lola’s Lunchbox, a custom design pair of maximum performance wool socks, a commemorative Phillips Flurry sticker, entry into drawing for great door prizes, including at least (1) pair of snowshoes. (Door prize drawing will be held during a Facebook Live event on 1/19/22 at 5:30pm central time). Registration also includes free entry to the Phillips Community Pool on race day from 1-4pm (including hot tub and showers)!  Also, complimentary race photos will be available online after the event!

LOCATION: To eliminate large in-door gatherings, we will not have a heated tent at this years event.  All activities, including awards presentation, (weather permitting) will take place outdoors.  The Race/Run/Walk, bib and goodie bag pick up and the outdoor awards presentation (weather permitting) will be held at the Phillips School Forest, N9199 N. Worcester Rd, Phillips, WI. Please remember to carpool, as there is limited parking.

SNOWSHOE RENTALS: Rental snowshoes will be available for the event, for a nominal fee. You can reserve a pair by contacting The Silly Goose in Park Fall, WI, 715-762-1970 

VIRTUAL EVENT: The virtual events can be done anywhere, anytime! We will have a 5K course marked at the Phillips School Forest. There will also be a prize for the participant that is the farthest away from Phillips!!
