Event Description

The SHAMROCK CLASSIC 5K and KIDS 1 MILE FUN RUN begins right outside of the race’s main sponsor O’Brien’s Irish Pub in Brandon on S. Kings Avenue and Lumsden Road. The 5K course is an out and back distance heading South towards Bloomingdale on Kings with a water station at the mile 1.5 mile turn-around. 

5K START TIME - 8:00 AM
KIDS 1 MILE FUN RUN STARTS APPROX - 9:30 AM

• Awards will be given in the 5k events to the Top Male and Female Overall, Masters (40+) and Grand Masters (50+) winners and the Top 3 Male and Female in each of the following Age Groups: 0-14, 15-19, 20-24, 25-29, 30-34, 35-39, 40-44, 45-49, 50-54, 55-59, 60-64, 65-69 and 70+.

• A finisher award / medal for all 5K finishers!

• All registrants receive a gender specific short-sleeve Race Shirt (Guaranteed if pre-registered by March 1, 2022)

• Free race photos

• Great post race party and awards ceremony.  

Packet Pick-Up: Packet pickup consists of short-sleeve race shirt and chipped bib for 5K and an un-chipped bib for the Kids Fun Run participants.  Race day packet pickup is available starting at 6:00 a.m. If you like to avoid packet pickup lines on race morning, pre-race day packet pickup will be available at O'Brien's Irish Pub & Grill at 701 W. Lumsden Rd in Brandon (stay tuned for dates and times)
