Event Description

“Casey was a dedicated, fearless, compassionate and spirited young lady, who touched many lives in her short time with us.”

A graduate of St. Josephs University, Class of 2012, with a degree in sports marketing, and a graduate of Parkland High School, Class of 2008. She was a member of St. Joseph the Worker Catholic Church. At Saint Joseph's University, she was a brother of Delta Sigma Pi, Hawk Host, Orientation Leader, and participated in community service events such as Community Day, Back On My Feet, Project Appalachia, Winter Immersion and the Philadelphia Service Immersion Program.  During her senior, Casey was diagnosed with Acute Lymphoblastic Leukemia (ALL). After a long battle, she passed away in August of 2013. 

Casey had a remarkable zest for life and battled her illness with incredible dignity and grace. She had a fighting spirit and approached every obstacle with that same zeal. Casey lived life to the fullest by remaining true to herself and always touching someone's life in the process.
