Event Description

5k runners will start and finish in the beautiful K-State Gardens, taking a lap on the track inside the historic World War I football field, and cruising by Anderson Hall, the Student Union, and Ahearn Fieldhouse.  It’s a surprisingly flat, fast course where you’re sure to set a state record on our USATF certified course!  (KS21023TJD) Knowledgeable “Purple Thumb” horticulturists will guide 1k walkers on a tour of the gardens and highlight exciting future plans for the gardens!  Age/place winners receive a glazed purple pot with rose shaped succulent plant!  Questions?  Call Terry 785-532-8686
