Event Description

Join your fellow industry professionals for a 5k walk or run to support the Meetings & Event Industry and do something healthy for yourself! This is a VIRTUAL RACE but will have lots of community engagement and a post race zoom awards & party! Register anytime after September 1st and finish the race anytime before October 18th.

Join us starting September 1st for our VIRTUAL Meetings & Events Industry 5k Run by MeetingHealthy. While you might not be running as a group, you will be running alone together. You can also from a small group if you choose. Set up a social group and have anyone join from anywhere! See instructions on registrations. Get your colleagues together, name your social group and do it as a team! 

MeetingHealthy is dedicated to making a difference for healthy meeting design and the health & wellness of all Industry professionals around the globe and with each race entry, we will raise both awareness and funds to assemble safety kits called "ticket to health" so live meetings & events can return.  We will be donating "ticket to health" kits to organizations so they can continue live events & meetings safely. The "ticket to health" kit includes hand sanitzer, essential oils packets and a mask. 
 
HOW A VIRTUAL RUN WORKS:
-September 1st go online and register for the race.
-Once your registration is complete, your running & wellness packet will be mailed to you.
-When you get your packet, put on your bib (that was printed at registration) and go out for a 5k (3.1 miles) run or walk using your phone or fitbit or anything you choose to time yourself.
-After your run/walk, come back to our website and submit your time.
All registrations will include a numbered bib and a t-shirt for all 5k participants. You will receive a bib that you can print with your bib number. 

You must finish your race by Sunday, October 18th. On Monday, October 19th at 4pm, there will be a one hour awards ceremony and instructions for you to use your wellness kit that had been previously mailed to you! Your Wellness Kit will include new & trending wellness items for you to sample.
