We are excited for this amazing collaboration between Ragnar and Wander Project to support causes that matter to YOU (our amazing athletes).
How it works:
As your team's captain, you will register your team for a charity bib entry into this event. Once you set up your team's fundraising page, you will be required to meet with a Wander Project staff to review your page and discuss details specific to this event (including percentages of funds donated to your organization and how you will apply for those funds).
After your meeting, Wander Project will provide you with a code to get your team registered for the event!
We will be here to support you and your team along your entire journey toward Ragnar!!
Raise money to support an organization of YOUR choice, and we'll waive your race entry fee.
Your Ragnar Fundraising Team will engage your friends and family in your fundraising efforts for a non-profit organization of your choice. This will need to be a registered 501c3 nonprofit based in the United States.
While 100% of the donations you raise will go to nonprofits (Wander Project is a nonprofit and all donations are tax deductible), the more you raise the bigger percentage will go back to the organization of your choice. Below is the breakdown of funds:
- Up to $10,000 we donate 70% of team funds raised
- $10,000-$49,999 we donate 75% of team funds raised
- $50,000 + we donate 80% of team funds raised
You have until the Registration Closes date to raise, X% of your funds in order to be officially registered for this event.
If you don't hit your minimum requirement by that date you will have the option to pay the fundraising difference or have your team removed from the event.
What is a 'Charity Bib'?
When you sign up for a Charity Bib you commit to be a fundraiser for your community, it means you're going to lead your own personal fundraiser and raise at least $6,000. Once you meet that fundraising minimum, your entry to the Ragnar event is FREE!
All donations are final and will be donated out regardless of your teams Ragnar entry.
