Event Description

Welcome to the first ever Camp Blue Haven Flying B Fun Run! This race is virtual, so you can gather your Blue Haven and/or running buddies to run in your respective town/city and choose your own course! On the day of the run, hop over to our Facebook event page at 7:45am Central Time for a Live race kickoff event before most runners take off at 8:00. Be sure to have somebody nab pictures as you complete your race and post them on the Facebook page as we come together as a Blue Haven community in a new way.

Choose your own distance, find some buddies, and enjoy the great outdoors! Races/Distances are as follows:
Porvi: 1 mile Walk/Run
Hermit: 5K (3.1 mile) Run
Elk Mountain: 10K (6.2 mile) Run
Crest: 12K (7.4 mile) Run
 
Children 12 & Under-$20 (tshirt included)
All Participants 13 & Over-$30 (tshirt included)

*But what about people who don’t like to run/“hike”…can they be a “Non-hiker”?…
For those who don’t enjoy running, there are options!!! Yes, they can be a “non-hiker”!

Option 1: We have our “Porvi” option which is a mile walk, jog, or run. This is popular for children under 12, those who are pregnant, and those who just prefer to walk in general. 

Option 2: If someone would rather run vicariously through Chad Montandon, they can! He has decided to combine all the distances offered for the fun run into one big 18 mile run! He would like to encourage our “non-hikers” to consider pledging a dollar amount to every mile he finishes on April 9th. You can achieve this one of three ways:
   
     a) By going to this webpage: http://runsignup.com/peakbagger/pledge and filling out the form on
         behalf of Chad Montandon
     b) By going to the registration site AFTER Chad finishes running and clicking “Donate” in the top right 
        corner. You type in the overall amount you wish to give and click the dropbox for “In Support of”. 
        Click “Other” and type “Chad Montandon” in the open field. Click “Continue” to follow the 
        prompts.
     c) Send a check payable to:
               Camp Blue Haven Foundation
               PO Box 417
               Marble Falls, TX 78654
        with “Chad Montandon Run” in the memo line

Option 3: If you would rather donate to the actual CBH Flying B Fun Run itself, click “Donate” in the top right corner of the registration website and fill out the form.

We are excited for this FUNdraiser and can't wait to bless Blue Haven with funds so they can in turn bless teenagers in the place "where campers come to grow mentally, physically, and spiritually".
