Event Description

Be a part of the largest gathering of PIRATE's atmosphere in SO CAL. Ships Ahoy, the pirate's have landed in Huntington Beach. A larger beach area for a larger pirate's invasion at Bolsa Chica State Beach. The SoCal Pirate's 5K/10K is Saturday, June 18, 2022. The "Every Body" Pirate's run is themed throughout the course! Hidden treasures along the way. Be the party or come to just run fast.  It is a FLAT n FAST PAVED COURSE along the beach.

Itz ABOUT TIME RFID Chip timed event with wave starts.  Age division and overall awards for avid runners, and the BEST EVER CUSTOM CAST FINISHER MEDALS for all. We raffle Coupons for bottles of Captain Morgan raffled to random finishers (over age of 21).  And a few other hidden treasures are to be found at this event!  We have the BEST music and warm up going and Pirate's cheer at the finish.  FUN, fun, fun in the sun run!  GRRRRR....it's the best start to your summer. YOU FIT!!

You get a Pirate's party, a great event tshirt, custom cast finisher medal, course time, and a great time!   Age division awards 3 deep in 5 year age spans. 

Pre-Race Day Packet Pick up/Late Registration:  

Costa Mesa's Road Runner Sports from 2 to 5 pm.

  Costa Mesa 92627      (You can pick up for others. No ID required)

Parking: PARKING at BOLSA CHICA STATE BEACH is $15.  You may wish to car pool..To enter into BOLSA CHICA STATE BEACH  go in the main gate on PCH and drive furthest EAST to the very last parking lot. The race is staged in view of that famous  Jack In the Box on the corner of Warner and PCH.

COURSE: Paved  course runs along the  majestic Pacific ocean with views of Catalina Island. Hear the crashing of the surf. Aid station half way through the 5k course might find you 'washed ashore". High five runners as you pass circling out and back with a pirate's life is me. 

Volunteers are the best! Volunteer at packet pick up and get a race day entry. (limited to the first 6 to sign up). Volunteer race day and get a tshirt.
