Join us on Saturday, April 16, 2022 at Montrose Harbor at 9:00 A.M. for the Bunny Rock Chicago 5K and Kid’s Egg Dash. This festive race is sure to bring lots of excitement and entertainment with 80’s rock music being played at the start and finish line, amazing amenities, and an overall fun, spring-filled race!

PACKET SHIPPING

• Make your life easier and skip the lines! All you need to do is choose the packet shipping option during registration and we will have your race packet shipped directly to your front door for only $14.95! Your packet includes your race shirt, bib, and more! If you opt for packet shipping during registration, there is no requirement to attend packet pick up. Packet shipping is a convenient option for those with tight schedules.Please be sure to verify your mailing address during the registration process, as we are not responsible for misdirected packets. We will close packet mailing two weeks before the race, so be sure to sign up early! Packets will be shipped out the Monday before the race.

80s ROCK MUSIC

Everyone's favorite 80's Rock music will be played at the Start and Finish!

AWARDS

The Top Three (3) Male & Female Finishers in each age group and overall top three will receive a medal. Age groups are as follows: 10 and under, 11-14, 15-19, 20-24, 25-29, 30-34, 35-39, 40-44, 45-49, 50-54, 55-59, 60-64, 65-69, 70-74, 75 and over. Race Director reserves the right to combine age groups.

TIMING

The Bunny Rock 5k is an officially timed event using the disposable B-Tag timing system. Timing chips are attached directly to the back of your bib number and are to remain adhered for the duration of the event.

CHARITY

We’re proud to announce Red Door Animal Shelter as the official charity partner of the 2022 Bunny Rock Chicago! Red Door Animal Shelter is a no-kill shelter committed to helping animals in need. Its primary focus is on the rescue, shelter and adoption of cats, dogs and rabbits—the three most popular pets in the United States.

STROLLERS, DOGS, AND WALKERS

• Strollers are allowed, but we ask that you start in the back.
• While we LOVE your fur babies, we ask that they stay at home.
• We love our walkers! Walkers, runners, joggers are all welcome!

EGG HUNT

• Egg Hunt is for children ages 2-10 with over 5000 filled eggs.
• Sections by ages
  • 2-3 YEAR OLDS
  • 4-5 YEAR OLDS
  • 6-7 YEAR OLDS
  • 8-10 YEAR OLDS
• The Kids Egg Dash isn't an exact distance. All kids will line up in their "age section" at the designated "egg hunt area" and "dash" to get eggs scattered all over Montrose Harbor Field.
• Egg Dash will start exactly at 10:15 for ALL AGES. Please be on time. 

PETTING ZOO

Huge live petting zoo with over 20 animals that include ducks, goats, lambs, donkeys, and more! 

REFUNDS

Since the Easter Bunny has many upfront costs, we have a strict and uniform policy of no refunds or exchanges, no person-to-person transfer, or no deferrals to a future year. We do understand that plans change, injuries happen, and various holiday festivities and situations arise, but, we feel it is most fair to apply a uniform policy to all, instead of a subjective line of who should receive a refund and who doesn’t. All purchases and sales are 100% final, no exceptions. Refunds will not be issued based on weather conditions. We appreciate your understanding in this matter.

VIRTUAL BUNNY ROCK OPTIONS

Can't make it to the Bunny Rock In-Person? No worries! You can run it virtually! Run a 5k, by yourself or with a large group, in the location of your choice, at any time of the day. Same race. Same swag. Just Your Location!

How It Works

1. Register For the Virtual Bunny Rock® 5K – DOMESTIC ONLY.
2. You will receive your swag (Shirt, Bunny Ears, Sunglasses, Bib and Medal) in the mail
3. Run/Walk your race on any day.
4. Submit your results online
5. Enjoy the satisfaction of your success and being a part of the Virtual Bunny Rock!
