This spectacular 3,400-acre area of forest is preserved to provide opportunities for youth to take a leadership role in forest management by giving them a legitimate voice in caring for our local mountains. Through formal education and volunteer programs, the Children’s Forest has encouraged local kids to become Forest Rangers, Fire Fighters, Meteorologists, and Stewarts of the land. We aim to evoke a fascination with nature that continues for generations to come.  Hit the DONATE button to learn more.
