Event Description
Join our inaugural 5K & 10K training program! Open to runners of all levels, however having a background in running is desirable. This program is not geared towards someone looking to simply COMPLETE the distance. This is for those looking to COMPETE in the distance!
*Monday evening run workouts at various locations (parks, the beach, trails, bridges/hills, etc.)
*Thursday evening run workouts at Runner's Edge
*Saturday morning long runs from Runner's Edge
Group training with a team in a goal oriented environment! We will be training as a unit with goal events however everyone will be given ideal paces, effort levels, and volume based on abilities. This group will be led by Coach Heather and Coach Stone. Goal "A" races will be Gumbo Limbo 10K and Run From The Rays 5K in April. This is only a 10 week program so you will be expected to show up with some mileage on your legs. You will also receive all the training, racing, stretching, strengthening, and nutritional advice you can handle!
