Event Description

Come join the Fort Wayne Police Department Patrolmens Benevolent Association as we host the Cops and Robbers 5K. This year we are raising money for Guns ‘N’ Hoses. They are a local 501c3 organization whose mission is “to assist first response workers (Police Officers, Fire Fighters, EMS, Dispatch, etc.) in financial need due to a major or unforeseen hardship. “

This is a cops and robbers themed event. When you register you need to select between the Cops team or the Robbers team. If you choose Robbers team you will get a 2 minute head start before the Cops team "chases after you". To make sure there is no competitive advantage, we will be using timing chips. Your time starts when you cross the starting line no matter which team you choose.

Packet pick-up will be at the Conklin Pavilion at Shoaff Park (6401 Saint Joe Road) on May 20th from 9 a.m. to 6 p.m. and starting at 9 a.m. on race day. You need to be registered by May 7th to guarantee a shirt.

There will be prizes for the top male and female finishers in the following age categories:

0-19 years
20-29
30-39
40-49
50-59
60+ 
Top over all finisher
Top masters finisher (over 60 years old)
