Event Description

The Nocturne is a 1.2km, closed road cycling 'criterium' with a series of races over the course of the day and night, held in a central London location. The event is an established highlight of London’s event calendar and has been running since 2007. It was held in Smithfield Market, Farringdon before moving in 2016 to the City of London.

The event is the ultimate lifestyle festival, now taking place in the world’s greatest cities. It combines the best of sport, fitness, fashion, music, food and drink that each city has to offer.

The Nocturne went international in 2017 in Copenhagen, Denmark with incredible success. The series now attracts tens of thousands of spectators across the two current cities, millions of TV viewers and followers on social media with a very engaged and affluent community.

The series attracts leading professional teams as well as WorldTour star riders. Past appearances at the Nocturne include Mark Cavendish, David Millar and Geraint Thomas. Other Celebrity guests have included Sir Paul Smith, Jeff Banks, Pierre Koffman, Jody Scheckter, Sir Chris Hoy and Ed Clancy.
