Event Description

The 14th Annual LG TRI in the beautiful Vail Valley mountain town of Eagle, CO will be held on Saturday, July 9th, 2022. 

The LG Sprint TRI begins at 7am. It is a 500-yard swim (10 laps) in the outdoor Eagle Pool followed by a 12-mile bike loop from the pool, up Brush Creek Road, to Frost Creek. The third leg features a run from the pool down the bike path to Eagle Ranch Road, connecting to the Eagle Ranch bike path, and back to the Eagle pool for the finish. This is a great course for first-timers and seasoned pros alike.

The 10th Annual LG Kids TRI is scheduled to begin at 10am. Please arrive early as parking may be difficult due to the LG TRI event that starts at 7:00 a.m.

The LG Kids TRI will be divided into three age groups:

*6 to 7 year olds - 25 yd swim (0.5 lap), 1 mile bike, 1/2 mile run

*8 to 10 year olds - 50 yd swim (1 lap), 3.2 mile bike, 3/4 mile run

*11 to 13 year olds - 100 yd swim (2 laps), 5 mile bike, 1 mile run

Register by the June 11th deadline to guarantee dri-fit race shirt.

Registrants and spectators will be asked to adhere to any COVID policies in place to ensure a safe race environment. There may also be a separate COVID wavier to sign on arrival to participate in the event.

Registration prices for all categories will increase on May 2nd and July 4th.

Online registration closes at 9am on July 7th.

Transition area opens at 6:00 am on race day, so arrive early to get your spot. Race begins at 7:00 am with the LGTri Kids event starting at 10:00 am.
