Event Description

Welcome to the first annual Run for Recovery 5K! Walkers and runners of all abilities are welcome!

Our goal is to fund raise, share resources, and promote awareness for our local addiction recovery community. 

Date and Location: The 5K run will be held on Saturday morning, June 24th  at 8am.

The race will start and end at the Eykamp Scout shelter with the route running through the scenic Evansville State Hospital grounds. 

Packet Pickup Location: Your t-shirt, bib number, and registration packet will be available to pick up on June 23rd  from 4-6pm in the parking lot of Deaconess Cross Pointe.

Packet pickup is also available from 6am-7am on race day at the Eykamp Scout Shelter.

Registration: You must register for the race on this site by June 6th,  to be guaranteed a t-shirt.

After this date you can continue to register, but t-shirts are not guaranteed. Final registration is 6-7am on site on race day. Please note that all registrations are non-refundable and non-transferable.

Inclement Weather: The race is on, rain or shine! 

Parking: Parking will be available at the Evansville State Hospital.

Timing: The race will be officially timed by “To the Finish.” Results will be posted at www.tothefinishtiming.com. 

Prizes: Prizes will be awarded to the top 3 male finishers and the top 3 female finishers! Finisher medals for all participants. 

Other fun stuff: This is a stroller friendly event. Travelin' Toms Coffee Truck will be selling beverages after the race.
