Back again and better than before! 

Please join us as we raise awareness for the needs of youth in foster care during National Foster Care Month with 2nd Annual Fostering LIFE 5K Charity Run/Walk and festivities at Grant Park on Sunday, May 21, 2023. Choose from the 5K or 1-mile Family Fun Run/Walk. Join a team, and invite family and friends to have fun while supporting a worthy cause.

The 5K and 1-mile fun run/walk is a family friendly event with a virtual option available for those unable to attend in person. All proceeds from the event support Fostering LIFE's education and outreach programs. 

Fostering LIFE is a nonprofit organization dedicated to empowering foster youth to excel in life (leadership, independence, faith, and education). Fostering LIFE provides the resources and support to help foster youth to excel academically, engage in extracurricular activities, and develop leadership skills. This event is held to raise awareness and funds to aid Fostering LIFE in expanding our ability to support the needs of youth in care.
