Event Description

Rooted In Hope 5K is a fundraiser to raise money for Hope Boxes for our local community in Snyder. Hope Boxes are tangible gifts that express love and provide a little bit of after-loss comfort to moms experiencing pregnancy or infant loss. They contain information on how to connect with the Hope Mommies ministry, as well as the local Hope Mommies chapter, pampering items, an ESV bible, and the Hope Mommies devotional book, Bright Hope by Erin Cushman. These boxes are provided to any mom in West Texas free of charge. The boxes that will be made from this fundraiser will be delivered to Cogdell Family Clinic here in Snyder to be given to moms experiencing pregnancy and infant loss. This 5K race is a personal fundraiser put on by Whitney Berber in honor of her precious babies in heaven, Abigail Elisabeth (7-11-13), Ruth Elisabeth (2-26-14), Isaac James (10-18-14), Hayzel Joy (9-28-16), Hayley Grace (1-10-17), and Truett James Douglas (9-27-20)
