Event Description

Mental Health America of Hendricks County invites you to participate in our Walking for the Health of It 5K Run/ Walk/ Kid's Race/ 1 mile Memory Walk and Virtual Race. We are running to raise awareness for mental health issues including the reduction of stigma and the promotion of positive support & healthy habits. Mental illness affects 1 in 4 people every year, meaning that nearly every family in our community is affected. With positive support, people can live a rewarding life in the community just like anyone else.

Course - We plan to offer both a fully virtual option as well as a course in Williams Park, Brownsburg IN that will be similar to prior years.  Please register to receive more information.

Awards - Medals for top male and female for each age division. Age divisions:  12-under, 13-17, 19-29, 30-39, 40-49, 50-59, 60-over.  This remains true in our virtual system, and winners will receive their medals in the mail. 

Entry fee includes - T-shirt, bib and swag bag.  Please sign up ASAP!
