Event Description
Join up to a thousand of your fellow Esplanade-lovers for the 2022 Esplanade 5K.
Run the most popular route in Greater Boston! This course takes an unparalleled riverfront route with both water and garden views set against the iconic backdrop of the Boston and Cambridge skylines. The finish line is perfectly photogenic, with passing sailboats on the Charles River.
Online registration closes at 6:00PM ON FRIDAY MAY 20th. Participants are still able to register day-of after the online registration closes.
Cost:
- $25.00: Early-bird registration (register before April 30th)
- $40.00: Standard Registration (May 1st-May 20th)
- $50.00: Day-of Registration
- $65.00: One Year Esplanade Assoc. Membership + Race Bib
- Esplanade Association Members receive free access to special Member events, discounted tickets to the Esplanade Association’s signature events
Proceeds from this race go directly to support the work of the Esplanade Association to revitalize and enhance the Charles River Esplanade, sustain its natural green space, and build community in the park by providing educational, cultural, and recreational programs for everyone
Race entry includes:
- One bib with timing chip and official race results
- Virtual Prize Bag
- Your chance at prizes for top female and male runners across various age brackets
Race Details:
- Race begins 9:00am at the Hatch Shell on the Esplanade (rain or shine!)
Packet Pickup:
- Anyone that registers by May 1st will have their bibs mailed directly to them
- If you register after May 1st, there will be an option to either pick up at the Esplanade Association office located in Back Bay (575 Boylston Street, Suite 4R, Boston, MA 02116) or pick-up at the event
