Event Description

Are you ready to have some fun? Come out and support access to mental health in the Lake Norman area and have some fun while doing it!

Two great opportunities to come out and have fun! First, a timed 10K/5K run/walk, and second a color fun run for all ages!  Feeling strong and want to participate in both? Excellent!  The events are staggered so runners can complete the 10K/5K and join in the fun of the color fun run. 

10K/5K - Start time 8:00am

Color fun run- Start time 9:30am

Please register for the combined event if you want to participate in both. Families young and old are welcome and encouraged to participate!

What's a color fun run?

Color fun run participants will run or walk a short course (less than a mile) in a race provided white T-shirt.  Volunteers throw color powder at the runners/walkers as they go by, and by the end of the run participants are covered in colors!  All color fun run participants will be provided with a white colored T-shirt and sunglasses for the color fun run.

Don't Miss the Post-Race Party

The races will start on South Street near the Old Davidson School, and finish at the Village Green. The post-race party will be on the Village Green with music, free food, and fun activities. Don't miss a chance to relax and visit our vendors!

Prizes

Prizes and awards for top 10K/5K finishers. 

All participants will get a runner's swag bag at packet pickup with lots of goodies from our sponsors. 

• 10K/5K participants will get a runner's performance visor
• Color fun run participants will get a white race t-shirt to wear on race day as well as sunglasses
