Event Description
Nik's Run for Addiction Awareness is a 5k Run/Walk to raise awareness of our country’s epidemic. More than 100,000 people have passed away from drug overdoses in the last year, approximately 136 people a day.* Addiction is a NOT a moral issue, nor is it prejudice. Addiction is a primary, chronic, relapsing brain disease.* Our goal is to spread awareness by addressing, preventing, and treating addiction.

The 5k course travels along the beautiful Oklawaha Greenway beginning and ending at Patton Park's small pavilion, in Hendersonville, NC. This is a relatively flat, fast, out and back course.
