Event Description

Overview: 

The Sunrise Stampede 5K with a 1-mile fun run is a family-oriented run/walk that has raised $270,000+ for student programs in the St. Vrain Valley School District.  All net proceeds support Teacher Innovation Grants for students with special needs.  These grants are awarded to teachers who have innovative ideas to enhance learning for students.  Help us continue a community tradition and support our students.  The courses start and end at Silver Creek High School, 4901 Nelson Road, Longmont, CO.  Race date is Saturday, August 13th – 8:00 am start.

Please note:  t-shirts are only going to be available for pre-registered in-person participants.  Entries received after noon on August 9th will not receive a shirt.

Course Description:

Award Information:

Awards presentation will take place at 9:30am.  The top male and female finisher in each age group will be awarded the traditional Sunrise Stampede mug made locally by Mark Rossier Pottery in Niwot.
