Newtown park is one of the best parks
we've ever seen for dogs!
And we're ready to celebrate the dog days of summer, with a 5K just for Fido and you! Come out & join us in downtown Newtown Park for a dog friendly 5K! You can bring your dog, or leave them at home. We'll get things started at 8 AM sharp!
Awesome race shirt & great awards to the top 3 Overall M/F, top 3 Overall Masters M/F, top 3 Overall Grand Masters M/F, top 3 Overall Senior Masters M/F and the top 3 in all the regular 5 year age groups. We'll be chip timing the start & finish, so you're guaranteed to get a great time you can use for the Peachtree. The course is entirely inside the park!
*Course is a Certified Peachtree Qualifier.

We're in North Georgia and there's not much that anyone can call flat & fast. However, this is a pretty course and the bulk of it is pretty fast.
It's also certified and completely inside Newtown Park.
We have awards as follows for the Humans:
- Top 3 Overalls M/F
- Top 3 Overall Masters M/F
- Top 3 Grand Masters (50 yrs+) M/F
- Top 3 Senior Masters (60 yrs+) M/F
- Top 3 in each of the normal 5 year age groups 10 & Under through 75+
For the dogs:
- Top 3 dogs that cross the finish line.
Awesome shirts guaranteed to all participants registered by 6/29, afterwards they're available while supplies last.

This is a great course to earn a spot in the Championships to be held January 2023. The number of spots available is based on the total registration.
All participants will automatically qualify for (1) FREE entry into ONE of the 2022 Five Star Thanksgiving Turkey Trot. See event website for details.
Our events are designed to be fun and for the entire family. With that in mind any competitor, spectator, parent, volunteer, or sponsor, exhibiting unsportsmanlike conduct or interfering with the positive, competitive atmosphere of the event will be asked to leave the venue and course immediately with no refunds.
The event will go on rain or shine. In the event of thunder/lightning, we may be forced to cancel the event. All registrations are final. We're sorry, but there are no refunds, deferments, or transfers.
